SEARCH OPTIONS
This page provides a number of search facilities so that you find railway subjects which you are interested in. This site provides:-
- a précis of the BackTrack journals from January 2006 onwards
- a précis of Railways in Transition books
- contact and ordering information for all Pendragon Publishing products
Two independent web sites have indexed all the BackTrack journals from the first issue. Steam Index have produced a précis of each article in many Railway magazines published in the last 20 years,
including all the BackTrack issues. Bob Farmers index is an index to all the articles and pictures in all issues of BackTrack and Modellers BackTrack.
BackTrack Index
To mark our 21st year of publication we have produced a comprehensive subject index to our first 20 volumes, including the Introductory Issue of 1986 and the LMS Special of 1998. See BackTrack Index page for details of our own complete subject index. To order your copy see the Ordering Page.
Tip
When using these three websites it is best to be specific about your search.
If you search on a word such as BackTrack you will get most of the pages returned.
If you choose subjects such as Easingwold or Spilsby or "train marshalling" then you will get a small number of results.
